The commission questioned manager-of-record discrepancies and required the applicant to remove Daniel Lanigan’s name from any applications where it remained and to file a change-of-manager form within two weeks. The commission also required that no alcoholic beverage service be offered on Sunday before noon (setup may begin earlier but service must start at 12 p.m.). The approval was contingent on receipt of up-to-date paperwork and a list of TIP-certified servers.
At 147 New Boston Street, Judy Miskal representing Newcap requested a one-day liquor and entertainment license for a fundraising walk on Oct. 5, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Commissioners discussed past noise concerns at New Path events and advised police consultation; the permit was approved by voice vote.
Clerk/staff reported that all common victualler licenses in the city had been updated earlier that day. The commission also acknowledged an ABCC memorandum on outdoor dining.
The approvals were carried by voice vote with conditions in some cases; staff will follow up to verify paperwork and compliance before the events.
