Two residents, Riley McDonough and Olivia Sites, asked the commission to place a 'Slow intersection ahead' sign on Kilby Street, citing limited sight lines for drivers turning toward Main Street.

Officer Gately and commissioners confirmed an existing sign in one direction and advised placing an additional sign on the Main Street side (westbound approach) near the bend and utility pole. Commissioners discussed whether one or two signs were needed; officer Gately advised that a westbound placement on the Main Street approach would be sufficient.
A motion to place a 'Slow intersection ahead' sign on the westbound Kilby Street approach before Hart Street was made and seconded. The motion carried on a voice vote. DPW will be asked to install the sign.
