Dr. Campbell also announced the hire of Lisonbee Bukari as the district's new supervisor of special education at the high-school level; Ms. Bukari was introduced to the board. Mr. Smith reported that the LCTI joint operating committee began the year with its highest enrollment since 2016–17 and previewed program expansions and an open house on Nov. 14.
