The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners voted Dec. 11 to accept and certify the November 2024 general election results and authorized the chair to sign the certificate of acceptance.
Elections records supervisor Steve Graham presented the results and explained the certification process. Commissioners acknowledged receipt of a letter from an individual named Klaus Hona that raised broader, state-level questions about election integrity; several commissioners said those concerns appeared to be statewide in scope and that there were no local irregularities in Umatilla County.
The board moved, seconded and carried the motion to certify the results by voice vote.
