Polk County honors volunteer David Rapp for building fairgrounds 'people mover'

A speaker noted that move logistics benefited from donated equipment and help from Ag West and Powerland; Doug Hebert was thanked for transporting the people mover and is retiring in January.
Rapp accepted the recognition and said he plans improvements before the next use and that he has volunteered at the fair since he was 15. The board and those present applauded and thanked him for his contribution to the fairgrounds.
