La Grange resident urges board to prioritize flooding updates; engineering study due by year-end

West told trustees she follows the village website for updates and emphasized the time-sensitivity of flood risk, saying "every week is a long time, and every month without rain is another lucky one." The board acknowledged the comment and signaled they would schedule a presentation when the engineering report is complete.
