One board member said Skowhegan should not be described as "the hub of Maine" without evidence; others suggested enhancing pedestrian and trail mapping and publishing the public participation slideshow as an accessible PDF alongside the plan. The board moved and passed a motion to forward the updated chapters for implementation while directing staff to correct data, improve image quality and add citations where needed.
The board also discussed sidewalk priorities, pedestrian improvements, and pedestrian/trail mapping and suggested footnotes and data sources be included in the published plan.
