The recommended motion to approve the contract was moved and seconded during the business meeting and passed by voice vote.
When asked about timing, vendor and staff representatives said the goal is to complete phase 1 by December or January and finish prior to concert season, subject to parts availability and vendor scheduling. “A lot of it's pending on parts coming in, but it should be completed prior to concert season,” an on‑site representative said. Staff added they will coordinate downtime with building users and performing arts directors.
The board discussed the project schedule briefly and encouraged communication between the vendor and affected departments. No change to the funding source was proposed; the item was approved on a standard motion.
