Board approves consulting contracts, software renewals and special‑education services

Among the approvals: an amendment engaging Miss Adela Jones of AMJ Educational Consulting LLC to provide temporary consulting and oversee the district’s internal complaint process at $175 per hour (general fund); renewal of Microsoft licensing for fiscal year 2024–25 at $17,069.28 (general fund); enrollment in CivicPlus social‑media archiving at $6,391 for the first year (ongoing price $7,188) to aid public‑records compliance; and a contract shift from an in‑person occupational therapist to a virtual provider, eTherapy, to cover an approximate caseload of 28 and an estimated cost of up to $101,475 from special‑education funds.
Board members moved, seconded and approved each item during the meeting. Administration described the eTherapy arrangement as a replacement for a prior in‑person contract (HealthPro) that could not provide occupational therapy staff.
Trustees also renewed a continuing professional services agreement with TNG to provide Title IX consulting services (not to exceed $15,000, general fund) to support complaint triage and determinations. Donations and a $6,411.91 Agriculture CTE incentive grant were accepted as presented.
