The Plan Commission approved a site plan from NWI Development 1 LLC to create a new access road into the former Kmart parking lot at approximately 9,548 Wicker Avenue and to modify the existing frontage road to a right-in/right-out operation to improve intersection safety. Ryan Tauranga with Tauranga Engineering said the work requires minor demolition and a pond modification; he reported that stormwater calculations had been reviewed and approved by Adam McAlpine. Town staff confirmed there were no outstanding items, and the commission moved to approve the site plan with findings of fact (motion by Ms. Abernathy, second by Mr. Bogle); the motion carried 6-0.
The applicant will proceed with the engineering and construction reviews per the approved findings of fact and coordinate required permits with town staff.
