A motion to accept the bids and refer them to county attorneys and engineering for review was moved, seconded and passed by recorded ayes. Tyler agreement termination: County staff reported that a long‑running project with Tyler is being terminated because Tyler could not meet certain deliverables and auditors raised concerns about state reporting. Commissioners voted to terminate the agreement; the motion carried and county staff said the termination pays Tyler for work completed plus an early‑termination amount and relieves the county of ongoing data‑cost obligations.
Right of entry: Commissioners approved a one‑year right of entry for county‑owned property at the northeast corner of State Road 2 and Larison to use as a temporary dirt stockpile yard for IEC‑area projects; staff said the site meets zoning requirements, will be insured and must be restored to current or better condition.
Roberts Environmental addendum: The county health department requested an addendum to continue sampling at a site with suspected salt contamination. Mark Espich, director of environmental health, said three wells showed the highest results and the department requested $25,100 in additional funds (there is $35,100 remaining from the prior project) to complete follow‑up sampling. Commissioners approved the addendum by recorded ayes.
Consent agenda and recess: The consent agenda was approved and the commission recessed at the end of the session.
