Area board approves 28‑foot accessory building height for Day Road property

Petitioner Dave Mark described needing extra clearance to store a Class A RV and construction equipment, explaining the requested 28‑foot height and 60‑by‑80 building footprint would accommodate a 14‑foot door, radiant heating, and a mezzanine. Board members who reviewed the aerial photos said the structure will be well behind the tree line and unlikely to be visible from the road.
A motion to approve the variance carried; staff will issue written findings of fact reflecting the decision and any staff conditions.
