Public works director Brian Patnode presented Change Order 5 for Contract 3 on the Bass Sewer Phase 2 project, saying additional sign‑ups along Cameron Avenue and another street required an extension of sewer work. Patnode told commissioners that contingency funds and a USDA grant would cover the additional work and that loan funds had been exhausted.
Patnode recommended approval of Change Order 5 in the amount of $159,250.75 to ELJ for Contract 3. The board moved, seconded and approved the change order by voice vote.
Next steps: Contract documents and change order instructions will be executed by staff and the contractor to add the additional addresses to the project scope.
