The board invited the team and coaches to the dais for photos and announced a signed banner would be provided to the school for display. Multiple players and the coach, Lupe Gonzalez, spoke briefly to thank the community and coaches.
The proclamation and photo opportunity were carried out during the meeting; commissioners and staff encouraged continued community support for the athletes.
Next steps: county staff will prepare the banner and distribute it to Henley High School and maintain photos from the ceremony for the county record.
