Klamath County commissioners on Dec. 3 approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the county’s Community Corrections office and Transformation Wellness Center to support the county’s deflection programming.
Director Hartman presented the MOU as part of the county’s deflection services and said the agreement is needed to move forward with an upcoming grant application. Chair Dave Hensley moved to approve the agreement with a handwritten correction to the partner name; a second was recorded and the motion passed with affirmative votes from the board.
The presenters said the MOU carries no fiscal impact to the county as presented and will be included as part of the next grant planning packet. Commissioners requested a clean copy of the corrected document for final signature.
The board treated the item as a prior‑approved administrative action to be run through the business meeting for formal placement on the record.
