Pottsgrove board elects Tina McIntyre president, Jay Strunk vice president by acclamation

Tina McIntyre was elected president of the Pottsgrove School District Board by acclamation during the board’s December reorganization meeting, and Jay Strunk was elected vice president, also by acclamation.

The board opened the reorganizational portion of the evening by explaining that Pennsylvania school boards must elect a president and vice president for one-year terms. After the secretary opened nominations for a temporary president and no public comment was offered, the board elected McIntyre as temporary president and then moved to elect her to the full one-year presidency.
