The Lorain Planning Commission on Dec. 4 approved FDP09-2024, an amended development plan for a single-family residence in a planned unit development at 3814 Yeager Road.
Applicant Sean Frencic was sworn in and told the commission he and his wife purchased the vacant lot to build their future home and have submitted site, utility and preliminary plans. Planning staff and the chief building official reported no outstanding objections at the hearing; staff said the building and engineering departments had begun their technical review and would complete full reviews during permitting.
The commission took no public comment on the item. After commissioners’ questions about whether the plan fits the PUD and applicants’ residency plans, a motion to approve passed by voice vote. Planning staff said the next step for the applicant is to submit permit applications to the building department and engineering for final review.
What happens next: the developer/builder must apply for construction permits; staff will complete their department reviews as part of the permitting process.
