Architects and contractors presented 100% construction documents (CDs) for three campus renovation projects. Chris Singel of LPA reviewed Elm Creek Elementary's CDs, noting a near-term county submission and a target construction start around spring break 2025; the board approved the documents as presented. Jorge Flores and Garza Baumberger presented the Southwest Elementary CDs, which include exterior façade cleaning, a new secure vestibule with a ballistic-resistant storefront, HVAC upgrades (requiring structural reinforcement), restroom and cafeteria renovations, and site improvements; the board approved the 100% CDs. Huckabee's team presented package sequencing and finish details for the Crewell Road School of the Arts renovation (including an enlarged amphitheater and a reversible dance-studio conversion); the board likewise approved those documents.
