Moss County Commission approves consent items, holds executive session and adjourns

The Commission then voted to convene in executive session for legal consultation. Speaker 3 read the stated legal basis for the session, saying it was for "consultation of legal counsel pursuant to 11 MRSA..." The motion to enter executive session was moved and seconded and carried 3-0. The meeting record shows that the county's legal attorney was expected to join, though the presiding speaker noted the attorney might be late.
The Commission returned to open session and Speaker 2 reported, "There's no action items coming out of the executive session." Following that announcement, Speaker 1 moved to adjourn; the motion passed unanimously, and Speaker 2 noted a related budget meeting would occur at 6 o'clock and the Commission would reconvene then.
The special meeting was largely procedural: votes on routine minutes, a closed-session legal consultation for which no public action resulted, and formal adjournment. No public commenters spoke during the meeting.
