Supervisor Clapper raised an item missing from the agenda: an update on the county's capital improvement plan. He said the county received only eight responses from supervisors to a recently distributed survey and announced that a second survey will be released through the county portal to solicit broader input. Clapper said results and updates will be provided well in advance of the Oct. 15 county board meeting.
Clapper noted the low response could be because supervisors did not see the survey or because another survey (regarding his performance) was released at the same time; he asked members who already responded to keep their answers and asked others to participate in the upcoming resurvey. No action or vote was taken on the CIP at the Sept. 17 meeting; the board will revisit results when they are available.
The clerk also noted board members received the 2024–2025 WCA official directory at the meeting.
