Court approves several budget amendments, a $100,000 change order, and awards RFQ to Doucet Kleinfelder
Summary

County staff presented a package of fiscal and procurement items on Aug. 27. Budget Amendment 23 established GL codes for a reimbursable $10,000 CJI victim materials grant (in-and-out reimbursed expense). Budget Amendment 24 transferred $100,000 from subdivision fees to a professional-services line to replenish the Doucet (now Kleinfelder) blanket purchase order for engineering/professional services. The court subsequently approved a $100,000 change order to the Kleinfelder blanket PO (#02852) to carry the county through the fiscal year.
Staff also said that evacuation-shelter signage costs were not reimbursable by GLO, prompting Budget Amendment 25 to transfer $1,613.76 from contingency to an emergency-shelter expense line; the court approved payment of Printing Solutions invoice #5564 for $1,613.76 for required signage.
On procurement, staff reported one statement of qualifications was received for RFQ 24CCP02Q (for development-regulation revisions) from Doucet Kleinfelder. The court reviewed the submission, noted the team includes attorney Mark Kennedy for development-regulation expertise, and approved awarding the RFQ to Doucet Kleinfelder after committee review.
All of these budget/amendment and procurement items were approved by the court by voice votes.
