GREENFIELD — The Greenfield-Central Com Schools board handled routine business at its meeting, approving minutes and claims, accepting grants and donations, setting advertisement for the district's 2025 budget hearing, and scheduling a special meeting to accommodate bond-related timelines.

District finance staff (identified in the record as Speaker 5) told the board the claims packet was larger than usual because of summer construction work — including a junior-high parking lot, the beginning of the soccer field, a Westin office remodel, high-school electrical work and a bathroom remodel — but said the district's results "continue to track our projections" and that the corporation was in a sound position financially.
