Freehold Township board approves personnel slate, $7.75 million in bills and bond resolution

The Freehold Township School District board voted on multiple personnel and financial items during its regular December meeting, approving a personnel slate, bills and claims of $7,752,886.10 and a bond proposal resolution.

Committee representative Mr. Gargiulo moved a large personnel package that included a second reading of regulations for gifted and talented pupils, listed retirements and resignations, offers of employment and various changes of assignment and salary adjustments. The motion was seconded and, after a roll call, the personnel slate carried.

During the financial portion of the agenda, a board member moved bills and claims for a total of $7,752,886.10, covering travel and related expenses, transfers, transfer corrections, out‑of‑district contracts and updates, out‑of‑district transportation contracts with MOESC, nursing services, PTO honoraria, a $1,000 donation from the First Day of School Foundation to Laura Donovan Elementary School, disposals, extended school year program listings and specialized evaluations and services. The motion was seconded and advanced to roll call.

Item 17, a bond proposal resolution listed on the agenda, was moved, seconded and put to a roll‑call vote. The board recorded affirmative votes and the motion carried; the resolution was approved as presented. No amendments were described at the meeting.
