The Plaistow Planning Board opened its Nov. 6 meeting with roll call, approved the Oct. 16, 2024 minutes after noting minor grammatical corrections and typographical errors, and then proceeded to a substantive review of a package of zoning amendments.
During routine business, Speaker 1 noted that the Westfield park‑and‑ride application had been withdrawn following an unfavorable Zoning Board of Adjustment action; the applicant withdrew the filing "without prejudice," allowing reapplication in the future. Board members also reviewed the meeting calendar and set public-hearing dates: prime-wetlands on Dec. 4 and a broader set of amendments on Dec. 18 (with January fallback meetings). A webinar on enforcing land-use and zoning violations (noon–1 p.m. on Nov. 21) and other training opportunities were flagged for members.
Karen was designated to take minutes at an upcoming meeting. The board adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
