The board discussed funding options that can be used to operate underenrolled courses—CTE funds, school-managed trust funds or general funds—and emphasized teacher endorsements and certification as prerequisites to run certain classes.
In related business, the board approved an amendment to the 2024—25 student-fee schedule to add a $50 maximum fee for participation in newly created competitive angler clubs (one club listed with a $30 fee; board policy approves a maximum so reported fees may be lower). Motions to approve the courses and to amend the fee schedule passed by voice vote.
