Senator Wintrow asked whether the change affects eligibility or accessibility; Larson said it does not. Senator Harris moved to approve the docket and the committee carried the motion by voice vote.
The department emphasized the change aligns state requirements with federal CMS certification to streamline administration; the committee did not record any dissenting votes on the floor of the hearing.
