Attorney Alberto Morales read recently received amendments to PDLS 646, specifying deletions and insertions to the explanatory text and proposed language that would exclude or include University of Puerto Rico employees and retirees from beneficiary language. The committee had no objections and approved the amendments as read; staff were directed to prepare the final texts.
Committee members then proceeded to final roll-call votes. The committee announced the following results: Proyecto de la Cámara 737 — 11 yes, 0 no, 0 abstentions; Senate Project 443 — 11 yes, 0 no, 0 abstentions; Senate Project 646 — 10 yes, 0 no, 1 abstention; Senate Project 1308 — 11 yes, 0 no, 0 abstentions. The presiding member declared the measures approved and requested preparation of certification and the approved texts for signature and positive reports to the House floor.
