The Allen City Council approved its consent agenda, which included routine and non‑controversial items: approval of the Nov. 12 regular meeting minutes; adoption of resolutions authorizing an interlocal agreement with the town of Addison for colocated data center space; awarding a $175,000 plumbing services contract with Amundson Plumbing (with two 1‑year renewal options); authorizing Kimley‑Horn & Associates for design of the Stacy and Custer Pump Station Improvements project for $460,900; a one‑year hosting/migration services agreement with Tyler Technologies to migrate permitting and licensing to AWS for $302,670; the reappointment of Kevin Hoffman as city health authority through Dec. 31, 2026; and receipt of quarterly financial and investment reports for the period ending Sept. 30.
An unidentified councilmember highlighted the interlocal IT agreement with Addison and staff’s cross‑departmental work on the pump station project, then moved to approve the consent agenda; a second was given and the council approved the motion.
The council also confirmed appointments of Ken Cook as liaison to the Planning & Zoning Commission and Tommy Berry as liaison to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. City Secretary Shelly George read calendar notices that city facilities will be closed Dec. 24–25 and Jan. 1, and reminded the public that the next regular council meeting will be Jan. 14. The mayor presented a staff award to Shelley George and made several community announcements, including a toy donation from the North Texas Warrior Golf Association and recognition of local participants in national events.
