The Livingston County Board approved a resolution Jan. 16 to appropriate funds for a bridge replacement on the Livingston–Ford county line in Section 36 near Chatsworth.

Highway Committee chair Steve Lovell said the county administers funds to Ford County, which will be responsible for construction. Lovell presented the appropriation as the single highway-item on the committee agenda; members asked no substantive questions and the board approved the measure by roll call.

The board’s action authorizes the county to allocate the identified bridge funds to the project; Ford County will manage the build and report back on progress and costs, Lovell said.
