Staff mentioned the target is to have the full site in use by spring so kayak and paddle-boat rentals and events can begin.
The item included a bid amount presented in the meeting packet. Council approved the motion to accept the bid by voice vote. Staff noted some grant administration steps and state contract timing had delayed earlier phases but that the project is now moving forward.
Council also discussed restroom rehab and visitor amenities funded by a tourism grant and said the pavilion will include restrooms for event use.
