Amy Bauer was sworn in as Greenland's town clerk and tax collector on Dec. 30, 2024, and the Board of Selectmen voted to appoint her to the office effective Jan. 1, 2025. Bauer recited the oath: "I, Amy Bauer, do solemnly and sincerely swear and affirm that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent on me as town clerk tax collector for the town of Greenland starting January 1, 2025."

The appointment followed the board's acceptance of the outgoing clerk's resignation (the board referenced Mark Morton). A motion to appoint Bauer and accept the resignation was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. Selectmen set Bauer's interim term to expire March 11, 2025, the dates announced when the oath was administered.

Board members and attendees offered brief remarks welcoming Bauer and thanking the outgoing clerk for institutional knowledge. No formal objections were raised during the appointment vote. The board moved on to other agenda items after recording the appointment and oath.
