Main Street director introduces herself; board approves 60-day MOU renewal to allow review

The board approved a 60-day renewal of the MOU between Main Street and the EDTA so the newly named Main Street director can review past actions and prepare a renewed MOU presentation. Board members said the renewal will carry the MOU through Aug. 31, 2024, and payments during the period will come from EDTA funds with anticipated reimbursement if a longer renewal is approved.
Bridgette introduced herself to the board, saying she is "very, very excited" to return to Pryor and to work with Main Street and the EDTA. She said she has begun reviewing the MOU, sees areas to enhance the partnership and intends to engage stakeholders before recommending changes.
The motion to renew the MOU for 60 days was moved, seconded and approved on roll call. Board members who recorded affirmative votes included Miller, Anderson, Swartoff, Bergen and Williams.
