Organizers outline $75,000 Bluegrass & Chili Festival budget; sponsorships and grants expected to cover shortfall

The board discussed volunteer duties, downtown setup, street closures and communications with downtown businesses so they can plan for the event. Organizers said they will meet with Jam Jam coordinators and other stakeholders to coordinate staging and timing.
Organizers emphasized the festival’s economic role in downtown activity and said they are working to avoid overloading volunteers by coordinating festival dates with other major events.
