EDTA says FreedomFest drew far larger crowd; approves $400 reimbursement for face painting

Organizers said they will compile vendor-reported average sales and tax reports into a spreadsheet to estimate the festival’s economic impact, and will use that data for planning next year. They also noted a roughly 30-minute fireworks show provided by a private presenter, who offered materials and staging as a gift to the city.
