Vice Chair Aaron George Kelly moved to approve the amendment “in accordance with findings of fact and staff recommendations,” and Brian Beaupre seconded. The motion carried with Chris Wellington recorded as abstaining.
At the public hearing staff noted prior discussion about the asphalt areas in front of the buildings. According to staff, the applicant agreed not to use asphalt in the striped, sloping islands and will use decorative gravel instead; staff described the detail as similar to the Saddle Rock example cited in the record.
The application was submitted by Northpoint Engineering LLC for Boulder Way Properties LLC, and staff recommendations accompanied the proposal. The board’s approval included the conditions and findings described in the staff report.
