Commission defers minutes and tasks staff to compile public comments on zoning map

At the close of the meeting commissioners agreed to defer formal approval of minutes from Nov. 18 and Dec. 9 until the next meeting. A motion to hold approval until members had time to review was seconded and approved by voice.
Staff committed to posting the consolidated draft zoning maps online and to prepare a packet of ward‑level comments, petitions and pertinent traffic‑study results ahead of the January follow‑up session. Commissioners signaled they would continue detailed ward reviews at that meeting and invited aldermen and residents to submit further input.
The commission adjourned for the holidays and said it planned to resume detailed map work in January.
