Recommending committee approves Sky Summit ordinance to adopt development agreement
Summary

The recommending committee voted Dec. 16 to approve Bill 2024-42, an ordinance to adopt the development agreement for the Sky Summit master-planned community, including the incorporated Sky Summit parks agreement and related elements for property near the terminus of Centennial Parkway west of the Clark County 215.
Seth Floyd, Department of Community Development, described the ordinance as ministerial: the council previously approved the development agreement and this ordinance reflects that adoption in the municipal code. He said the agreement covers residential development and a parks agreement; the committee opened a public hearing, heard no speakers, and approved the ordinance.
Staff advised the committee that the ordinance is eligible for formal adoption at the City Council meeting on Dec. 18.
