The group discussed the potential to reduce Baseline and Whitehaven to one lane in each direction in the spring if studies support the change and appropriate right‑of‑way and turn lanes are provided. Participants also raised a long‑term option to consider a roundabout at Baseline and Grama Isle Boulevard, acknowledging tradeoffs including parking and right‑of‑way impacts.
The county asked participating partners to provide studies and data; the board expects to reconvene with DOT in February to press for spring scheduling if feasible.
