Resident urges collaboration, fundraising for Northwest Community Center

A brief exchange noted differing perspectives among local parties and signaled interest in follow-up meetings to discuss collaboration.
"I'm trying to get Cindy and her board to work with me ... my goal is between now [and] February having anywhere from 20 to $40,000 raised," the resident said during public comment.
No formal action or funding commitment by the commission was made during the meeting; commissioners encouraged the resident to coordinate with staff to set up a broader discussion.
