Board approves minutes, travel, policy updates and committee appointments; all votes unanimous

Attendance: The board moved and approved a motion to excuse two absent trustees, Mr. Stormer and Mr. Heath (voice vote recorded as 3-0).
Minutes: Trustee Wolcott moved to approve the Dec. 19, 2024 minutes; the motion passed by voice vote (3-0).
Travel requests: The board approved travel requests 1–8, which included overnight student travel and a late-added request for the girls wrestling team to travel to Eastmont. Athletic director Jeff Jamieson was present for questions. Trustees approved the travel items by voice vote (3-0).
Policy changes: On second reading trustees adopted revisions to student-discipline policy 3241 and emergencies policy 3432 (the latter amended with added language for Secure and Teach). Trustee Wolcott moved the motion; the board approved by voice vote (3-0).
Committees: Trustees approved the list of instructional materials committee members as a formality. During roll call the board corrected a name: the nonvoting board representative on that committee should be Joel Heade (not Steve Olcott).
All recorded votes during this portion of the meeting were voice votes recorded as unanimous (3-0).
