The court approved what it called the “BBB modified” plan — a version of consultant Jose Garza’s plan BB adjusted on the floor to keep Bishop’s two voting precincts together and to swap precinct 105 and 59 so Robstown and neighboring areas remain more intact. The motion to adopt the revised map passed 5-0 in a recorded vote. Commissioners Hernandez, Matas and Gonzales each voted “aye,” Commissioner Chesney voted “aye, with explanation,” and Judge Canales cast the deciding aye.
