Holiday at Home team thanks city; council proclaims Sept. 14 EcoFest Day

Environmental education staff accepting the proclamation encouraged attendance (EcoFest is free, Sept. 14, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.), asked residents to bring refillable water bottles for station refills, and described family‑friendly activities, a pet pollinator costume contest and recycling features including candy‑wrapper recycling and costume reuse.
Councilmembers urged residents to attend the event and noted other upcoming community activities such as Tot Shop and Cycle Kettering rides. The meeting record includes expressions of appreciation to Holiday at Home volunteers and city crews responsible for event cleanup.
