Commission approves consent agenda including Matilda Plat preliminary plat and moves rezoning item to consent

The Des Moines Plan and Zoning Commission approved its consent agenda at the Nov. 7 meeting, including three consent items and approval of meeting minutes.

Consent items included a preliminary plat (Matilda Plat 1) for property in the vicinity of 1201 Center Street: staff described a 1.61‑acre subdivision intended to allow conversion of an existing row‑house development into 37 lots.
