Casto presents Valvoline proposal for 48 N. Brookwood at public hearing; first reading held

During the Sept. 11 public hearing, the council considered a preliminary and final plan development proposal and specific‑use request for 48 North Brookwood Avenue to allow a Valvoline Instant Oil Change (automotive service) in a Business Plan Development (BPD) zoning district.
Eric Lebowitz of Casto appeared for the applicant in place of Brent Myers and described the team’s positive experience working with city staff, thanked the council for the hearing and said the applicant would appreciate council support when the ordinance returns for a vote.
Council closed the public hearing after no public opposition spoke from the audience and the matter will appear on a future agenda for council consideration; this meeting recorded only the public hearing and first reading.
