Hamilton council adopts multiple emergency ordinances, supplemental appropriations and grant acceptances

- Emergency ordinance authorizing filing a loan application to the Ohio EPA Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (October 2024 distribution) and delegating execution to the city manager. (Moved by Vice Mayor Pullman.)
- Emergency ordinance authorizing sale and development agreement with German Village Properties LLC for 826 Buckeye Street. (Moved by Council Member Vaughn.)
- Resolutions accepting multiple grants, including two $1,000,000 awards from the State Capital Budget's Strategic Community Investment Fund (SCIF) for the River's Edge renovation project and the Schuler-Benninghoffen mixed-use renovation project; a $75,000 COVID-19 enhanced-operations reallocation; and a $29,721.53 Public Health Emergency Preparedness grant through Butler County. Council recorded roll-call votes and carried the motions.
Council also approved other first readings, right-of-way dedications and routine permits listed on the agenda. Several items will return for subsequent readings or implementation steps. No items failed; the meeting recorded multiple unanimous 6-0 votes during the legislative portion of the docket.
