The Middletown Planning Board approved an application Dec. 4 from Raquel and Alfred Acosta to open a UPS Store at 157 Dolson Avenue.
The applicants said they will offer package-shipping services, Amazon returns and notary services. Board members and staff reviewed mailings and site plans; engineering and fire staff reported no outstanding issues. After a brief public hearing with no in-person opposition, the board voted unanimously to approve the resolution.
The applicants were advised to coordinate with building, fire and licensing staff as they prepare to open the storefront.
