The Middletown Planning Board on Nov. 6 approved a package of small-business permits and an amended resolution for a downtown hotel project, while postponing one alcohol-license request.
Mady Pokorny, owner of Well Worn Books, told the board she plans to relocate her bookstore from Wickham Avenue to a roughly 300-square-foot storefront at 7 North Street, between Ida Beauty Supply and the Run For Downtown Park. Pokorny said there will be no structural changes; the board approved the relocation unanimously.
