The Common Council left the Orange Harris subdivision public hearing open and asked its corporation counsel and the relevant commissioner to review new engineering information submitted by the applicant.
A resident who has repeatedly addressed the council complained the project has been pending for roughly two and a half years and demanded to know when it would come to a vote. The council said it received additional material from the applicant's engineer the same day and will keep the hearing record open for two weeks to allow comment and for counsel to prepare a recommendation.
Councilor comments indicated the matter needs a formal recommendation from corporation counsel before scheduling a vote; the council closed the hearing for the evening but explicitly left the record open and directed staff to review the recent submission.
No final decision on the subdivision was recorded at the meeting.
