Sam Burton of Boehler Engineering told the City of Middletown Planning Board on Oct. 2 that the applicant, O'Reilly Auto Enterprises LLC, is proposing a new 7,000‑square‑foot retail auto parts store at 183 Dolson Avenue and is seeking site‑plan approval and a special use permit.
"The applicant's looking to construct a new 7,000 square foot, retail auto parts store," Burton said, describing a proposal that would provide 35 parking spaces where 24 are required, a five‑foot retaining wall at the rear to address grade changes, and a shared access drive that runs through the property. He said the team has been coordinating with the Department of Public Works and responding to an engineering review letter from CPL.
