At its Sept. 17 meeting, the City of Middletown Industrial Development Agency approved payment of routine bills and passed a short-term administrative resolution addressing signature authority.
The board approved payment of three items presented by staff: a FedEx charge for $2.50, a corporation counsel invoice for $280 (work related to PolyCraft), and a City reimbursement for QuickBooks of $192. Mister Brito moved to approve the payments and Mister Hawkins seconded; a roll-call vote recorded affirmative votes from the members present.
In new business, the IDA considered a resolution to authorize Vice Chair Wayne Hawkins to sign checks in the treasurer’s absence through Sept. 30, 2024. Staff explained the treasurer remains on leave and some checks require double signatures. Mister Brito moved the resolution; Mister Seagraman seconded. The resolution passed on a roll-call vote of the members present.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that passed. No further actions or follow-up tasks were recorded in the meeting minutes.
